Senior Mechanical Design Engineer – Nuclear Projects

Are you a seasoned engineer ready to take on complex challenges and lead innovative projects in the energy sector? We are looking for a Senior Engineer to join our team of experts working on critical modifications to nuclear power generation facilities and plant mechanical system designs for leading energy providers. This role offers you the opportunity to make an immediate impact by applying your technical mastery and collaborating with top-tier engineers across disciplines.

As a Senior Engineer, you will:

  • Design and modify key components, ensuring they meet rigorous specifications.
  • Lead technical reviews of calculations and design deliverables, while offering guidance and support and mentoring to junior engineers.

  • Minimum of 7 years progressively more responsible commercial nuclear experience.

  • Working knowledge of codes, standards, and regulations that apply to mechanical engineering design of nuclear power plants.
  • Possesses a technical mastery of engineering principles.
  • Demonstrates ability to perform review of complex calculations and design deliverables.
  • Professional Engineering License preferred, but not required.
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work permanently in the U.S. (i.e. without the need for work sponsorship now or in the future)
