  • Perform structural, thermal, vibration, and stress analyses using FEA and other engineering tools.
  • Develop prototypes and iterate designs based on testing and validation results.
  • Ensure designs comply with performance, safety, and regulatory standards.
  • Plan, execute, and document mechanical testing and product verification.
  • Conduct failure analysis and root-cause investigations on components and assemblies.
  • Support environmental and qualification testing (e.g., vibration, thermal cycling, shock).
  • Lead mechanical engineering projects, from concept through production, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
  • Work closely with electrical, RF, and software teams to integrate mechanical solutions.
  • Mentor junior engineers and technicians, providing guidance on design practices and problem-solving.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed engineering drawings, specifications, BOMs, and test reports.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards (ISO 9001, AS9100) and industry regulations.
  • Support design reviews, audits, and technical presentations to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure designs are producible and maintainable.
  • Review and approve engineering change requests (ECRs/ECNs) related to mechanical systems.
  • Address production issues, provide corrective solutions, and implement process improvements.
  • Research and implement new materials, methods, and technologies to improve product performance and reduce cost.
  • Identify opportunities for efficiency, reliability, and performance enhancements in existing designs.

  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • 7+ years of mechanical design and engineering experience.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, CATIA, or similar).
  • Experience with mechanical analysis tools (FEA, thermal, vibration, stress analysis).
  • Strong understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and mechanical systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Experience in aerospace, defense, RF systems, or high-precision manufacturing.
