The Senior Technician supports engineering and manufacturing teams by performing advanced technical tasks related to the assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of aerospace components and systems. This role requiresa high levelof hands-onexpertise, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble, install, and test aerospace components and systems according to engineering specifications and procedures.
  • Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting on mechanical, electrical, or fluid systems.
  • Operate andmaintainspecialized tools, test equipment, and instrumentation.
  • Document test results, discrepancies, and corrective actionsin accordance withquality standards.
  • Support prototype builds, engineering development efforts, and production transitions.
  • Collaborate with engineers to provide feedback on designs and suggest improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Train and mentor junior technicians and support personnel.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate degree or technical certification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Aerospace Technology.
  • 6+ years of hands-on experience in aerospace or high-tech manufacturing environments.
  • Proficiencyin reading and interpreting engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
  • Experience with mechanical assembly, wiring, soldering, or hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Desired Qualifications

  • FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certification or equivalent.
  • Experience with environmental or vibration testing.
