Job description

The Process Engineer is responsible for developing, implementing, and sustaining manufacturing processes to ensure safe, high-quality, and cost-effective production. This role supports day-to-day production, drives continuous improvement, and ensures successful execution of new product launches. The position requires strong technical problem solving, hands-on engagement with production, and a commitment to Autoliv’s safety-first culture.

  • Bacherlor's degree

  • 2–5+ years in manufacturing or process engineering

  • Experience supporting high-volume production environments

  • Hands-on shop floor experience troubleshooting processes

  • Exposure to: o Root cause problem solving (8D, 5 Why) o SPC and process capability analysis o Lean / continuous improvement initiatives Prefered:

  • Automotive or regulated manufacturing experience

  • APQP / PPAP exposure • Experience with automated assembly equipment

  • Willingness to work in a production environment (shop floor presence required)

  • Ability to support off-shift production issues as needed

  • Occasional extended hours during launches or critical issues

  • Ability to travel (limited) for training or equipment support if required.
