Senior Manufacturing Engineer
Schaumburg, IL
Our client is hiring a Senior Manufacturing Engineer!
Responsibilities of the Senior Manufacturing Engineer
  • Serve as an on-the-shop floor go-to Senior Manufacturing Engineer for CNC machinery and automation in an ISO-9001 Certified company
  • You will use your SolidWorks and AutoCAD to develop new fixtures, jigs and tools used in the assembly of tight tolerance CNC machined metal components
  • Use AutoCAD to develop new and improved facility layouts and work cells
  • Serve as a liaison for testing and NPD for new products
  • Maintain the Routings and Work Instructions
  • Assist with the optimization of designs and be involved with Design for Manufacturability reviews
  • Be involved with or be willing to learn CNC machine setups and programming
  • Serve as a liaison with outside suppliers who support facility upgrades and support the infrastructure

Requirements of the Senior Manufacturing Engineer
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, industrial or general engineering or in any technical discipline is a plus but not required
  • Sponsorship is not available for this position
  • Seven or more years of full-time experience is required from within the metals industry
  • Outstanding benefits and career growth potential
  • CAD such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks along with MS Office including Excel is preferred
  • Great location not far from Higgins and easy on ramps to 90

Compensation for the Senior Manufacturing Engineer
The targeted annual starting salary for this position ranges from $85,000.00 to $105,000.00 depending on experience.
