Program Management Specialist, Senior

The Opportunity:

As a program management specialist, you know the complexities of supporting a project from concept to completion. Many programs require a significant investment of limited resources, and it's imperative to keep the project on a productive path. That's why we need you, an experienced program management specialist who can help ensure success through careful analysis and effective communication.

On our team, you'll implement and maintain organizational programs in support of our Space portfolio. You'll work with key stakeholders to review risks, assist in the management of contracts, and track project costs. You'll help with tactical planning and regularly interact with customers, software engineers, AI/ML SMEs, and program managers. The real impact of project management comes from communication to ensure the program achieves its goals and meets our quality standards. You Have:

  • 5+ years of experience supporting Department of War or industry information technology programs

  • 3+ years of experience in technical project management or operations, including supporting highly self-sufficient technical teams

  • Experience using project management tools, including PowerPoint to communicate complex ideas

  • Knowledge of Agile, SAFe, and Lean Portfolio Management practices

  • Ability to self-start, multi-task in a fast-paced environment, and prioritize multiple tasks with minimal supervision

  • Ability to collaborate across multiple organizations and teams, author briefing, and formulate responses to data calls

  • Secret clearance

  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

  • Experiencepreparing and delivering briefing reports to senior government and corporateleadership

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
