About the team: As a Senior Manager of Technical Program Management (TPM) in the Bank Tech organization, you will drive initiatives for Instant and Emerging payments, ensuring platform readiness for modernization and future innovation. In this exciting role, you will partner with Senior Leaders and stakeholders across lines of businesses to drive execution of a cohesive roadmap across multiple workstreams to deliver results that will have a direct impact on the company. It could include driving platform maturity to bring innovation in the payment offerings.

Our TPM Sr. Managers have:

  • Strong technical backgrounds (building highly scalable platforms, products, or services) with the ability to proactively identify and mitigate technical risks throughout delivery life-cycle

  • A quantitative approach to problem solving, ability to simplify the technically complex and drive well-educated decisions

  • Ability to navigate ambiguous technical and organizational challenges

  • Exceptional executive communication and influencing skills with deep focus on execution, secure commitments on deliverables, accountability, and results

  • Highly tuned emotional intelligence, good listening, and deep seated empathy for teams and partners

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • At least 5 years of experience managing technical programs

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience designing and building data-intensive solutions using distributed computing

  • 5+ years experience delivering large-scale, technical, complex, cross-domain programs

  • 3+ years of experience in building distributed systems & highly available services using AWS cloud computing services and architecture

  • 3+ years of experience with Agile delivery

  • Experience with AI enabled workflows (automation, summarization, risk identification)

  • Experience in building systems & solutions within a highly regulated environment

  • Experience leveraging judgement and influence to orchestrate multiple, interdependent, cross-functional workstreams across organizational boundaries, to secure commitments on deliverables, and unblock teams to land business impact

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in a related technical field (Computer Science, Software Engineering)

McLean, VA: $200,700 - $229,100 for Sr. Manager, Technical Program Management


New York, NY: $219,000 - $249,900 for Sr. Manager, Technical Program Management


Richmond, VA: $182,500 - $208,300 for Sr. Manager, Technical Program Management









Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter.

This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
