Job Summary:
Saint-Gobain North America is seeking a Senior Manager of Data Analytics & Governance to lead the execution and continuous improvement of their data governance capabilities. This role involves developing and optimizing data governance policies, collaborating with various stakeholders, and driving the adoption of a comprehensive data governance framework to ensure data quality and accessibility.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Lead the development and ongoing optimization of data governance policies, standards, and best practices aligned to business goals
โ€ข Partner with domain leaders and the PMO to prioritize and execute governance initiatives that drive tangible value
โ€ข Establish and manage governance processes for data definition, quality, lifecycle, and access management
โ€ข Collaborate with data stewards, business owners, and IT to define clear ownership, roles, and accountability
โ€ข Facilitate governance forums and working sessions that drive alignment, engagement, and continuous improvement
โ€ข Advance enterprise data quality and master data management efforts, including issue resolution and remediation
โ€ข Partner with legal, security, and compliance to ensure data privacy, access controls, and regulatory alignment
โ€ข Support and expand the use of governance tools such as data catalogs, business glossaries, lineage, and data quality platforms
โ€ข Enable transparency and usability of data through improved metadata management, modeling, and data flow optimization

Qualifications:
Required:

โ€ข 10+ years of experience in data management, data governance, or related analytics roles
