Job Summary:
HCL Global Systems Inc is seeking a highly motivated Mainframe Senior Software Engineer to join their team. The role involves developing and maintaining critical components in the Transmissions space while collaborating with business and systems teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 5+ years of mainframe software development experience using Cobol, DB2, JCL, VSAM
• Experience in Agile development methodology and Jira
• Ability to work with a variety of individuals and groups, both in person and virtually, in a constructive and collaborative manner
• Ability to quickly learn, adapt and strive to meet the needs of a fast paced, changing environment
• Ability to navigate organizationally to accomplish tasks
• Ability to work on multiple efforts simultaneously
• Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Quick learner and willing to adapt and learn new technologies
• Great attitude, teammate and effective contributor
• Commitment to quality and high standards
Preferred:
• Knowledge of SQL, File-aid, Eztrieve and SPUFI
