Job description

What Timken makes possible begins with you.
Those who came before us helped land a man on the moon, create the world's infrastructure, and introduce renewable energy alternatives. Now you can join the Timken team to write your own unique story and help drive what's next.

A career at Timken means you can have an immediate impact doing Work That Matters to the world- improving the efficiency of today's industrial equipment and preparing for the future of motion on our planet and beyond. New employees can start contributing right away, and there are many opportunities to advance your career at your own pace. Join our global team of 19,000 people in 45 countries, and start helping our customers push the limits of what's possible in their world of motion.

The IMECH team is passionate about delivering high quality products and services. We understand we need dedicated professionals to continue growing. We value professionals who are equally passionate about utilizing their knowledge and skills to deliver best-in-class solutions for our valued customers. IMECH engineers and manufactures radial bearings, thrust bearings, and other critical components for the down hole oil and gas market. Our proprietary coatings and heat treatment protect customer-supplied components such as mandrels, fishing tools, and conveyors in oil and gas, mining, power generation, and plastics industries.

We are seeking an individual that value a "do it right the first time" attitude: your accuracy and adherence to work instructions reduce rework, protect downstream processes, and directly impact product quality. If you take pride in precision, thrive on repeatable workmanship, and want to grow with a team investing in advanced coating technology, IMECH offers hands-on training, clear advancement paths, and a collaborative environment where your care makes a measurable difference.

What will you do? Your day to day success is determined by your ability to:

  • Maintain a safe working environment and promote health and safety awareness.
  • Ensure accuracy and efficiency before and throughout production.
  • Produce a quality product by following written and verbal instructions.
  • Interpret blueprint drawings for specifications.
  • Document discrepancies in materials and/or process.
  • Self-inspect work produced through the use of various measuring tools to ensure conformity to specifications.
  • Participate in continuous process improvement.
  • Maintain all work areas in a clean and orderly manner.
  • Communicate to management any quality issues and non-conformances.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

With Quality in mind, you also bring the following:

  • Minimum of High School Diploma or GED.
  • Experience or training in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and tables.
  • Good math, geometry, and mechanical aptitude.
  • Precision and strong attention to detail.
  • Must understand and comply with all safety rules, ISO 9001, and company policies.
  • Passion in delivering accuracy and quality as a priority

All qualified applicants shall be treated equally according to their individual qualifications, abilities, experiences and other employment standards. There will be no discrimination due to gender or gender identity, race, religion, color, national origin, ancestry, age, disability, sexual orientation, veteran/military status or any other basis protected by applicable law.
