This position will perform the planning, execution, and successful delivery ofAdvana-related projects and development initiatives. This position requires a proven leader with direct experience managing complex data integration, analytics, and digital transformation efforts within multi-stakeholder environments.

This Senior Project Manager leads cross-functional teams in the execution of strategic projects, ensuring alignment with program objectives, stakeholder expectations, and organizational priorities. The role requires the ability to collaborate effectively across government, industry, and technical teams to achieve desired outcomes while meeting project schedules, performance objectives, and key milestones.

Primary Duties:
  • Planning & Execution: Lead end-to-end planning and execution of large-scale data acquisition and onboarding efforts, coordinating priorities, schedules, dependencies, risks, and deliverables across multiple data sources and stakeholder organizations.
  • Coordination: Serve as a primary liaison with data owners, data stewards, governance teams, platform teams, and mission stakeholders to define onboarding requirements, resolve issues, and maintain alignment throughout the acquisition lifecycle.
  • Data Onboarding Management: Manage and communicate the status of data onboarding activities, maintaining visibility into source identification, access approvals, ingestion, validation, governance reviews, and production readiness while proactively addressing blockers and schedule impacts.
  • Governance Documentation: Develop, coordinate, and maintain required data governance and onboarding documentation, including data agreements, access requirements, data inventories, governance artifacts, approvals, and supporting technical documentation.
  • Status Tracking & Reporting: Establish and maintain program-level metrics, reporting, and executive status updates that provide leadership with clear visibility into onboarding progress, risks, dependencies, resource needs, and overall data acquisition performance.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated experience supporting products and data onboarding efforts within the Advana, War Data Platform, and/or Jupiter with an understanding of the platform’s data acquisition and governance processes
  • Experience managing large-scale data onboarding efforts
  • Strong understanding of DoD data governance
  • Ability to coordinate cross-functionally across government stakeholders, platform teams, data engineers, developers, and mission customers
  • Ability to understand technical data dependencies and translate detailed onboarding activities into actionable plans, reporting, assessments, and executive-level communication.
  • Strong customer relations, analytics, and documentation skills
  • Self-starter, highly motivated, strong work ethic with a commitment to quality
  • Microsoft office suite proficiency, i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint

  • 10 years of experience leading end-to-end planning and execution of large-scale data acquisition and onboarding efforts
Clearance:

This position is subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. In order to complete the requirements for government security clearance investigation you must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to complete the full background investigation. This position requires an Active Secret Security Clearance.

Compensation:

While skills, education, and experience are key factors, they are not the sole determinants of salary. Other determining factors include but are not limited to location, contract budgets and requirements, and government labor category guidelines. The estimated salary range for this position is $135,000to$185,000. KAIROS also provides a comprehensive benefits package as additional employee compensation.
