ASI is seeking a Senior Logistics Analyst to support Maintenance Value Stream (Mx VS), F-35 Joint Strike Fighter Program Office (JSFPO).

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with logistics/engineering teams for concurrence on all related F-35 Air Vehicle maintenance optimization activities
  • Ensure progression and status of Organizational Maintenance Optimization (OMO) projects while ensuring logistics elements and supportability considerations are thoroughly scheduled and tracked
  • Participate in Degrader Action Cell (DAC) meetings supporting Air Vehicle Engineering and Logistics personnel with respect to OMO projects and DAC action items
  • Perform Configuration Management (CM) reviews to ensure repair operations are optimally maintained
  • Identify opportunities within Integrated Product Support Elements (IPSE) and maintenance policies to improve maintenance outcomes. Conduct cost/benefit trade-off analysis of policy options
  • Recommend improvements to existing maintenance concepts, procedures, and handling requirements
  • Participate in data modeling reviews and analyses of Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs), Supplier Data Requirements Lists (SDRLs), Engineering Bill of Materials (EBOMs), Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), Field-Level data documents, Weapons System Planning Documents (WSPDs), Aircraft Flight Hour Reports, and documents involving cost and repair data for the Mx VS Team Lead
  • Assist in the development of presentations on program status, accomplishments, and progress to all levels of Department of Defense (DoD)
  • Assist in the coordination of information and development of Sustainment Integrated Product Team (IPT) task and duty automation within Microsoft applications
  • Provide support to Level of Repair Analysis (LORA) Senior Logistics Analyst and clients by populating model input data utilizing Microsoft Excel
  • Provide weekly and monthly input on team meetings, briefings, teleconferences, and written correspondence within the Mx VS Team
  • Create briefing charts used to analyze results, reduce logistics support costs, increase availability of equipment, and minimize the total life cycle cost to identify maintenance repair alternatives
  • Communicate updates on status information, support equipment, and estimated completion dates on each of the various OMOs for the F-35 to achieve optimized field-level repair

Required Qualifications:

  • 8-12 years of specialized logistics experience (i.e., leading flight line aircraft maintenance)
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field
    • An additional four (4) years of specialized acquisition or operational logistics management experience may be substituted for degree
  • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft products to include Teams, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
  • Working knowledge of Jira and Confluence tools
  • Willingness to travel

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with F-35 or fighter aircraft maintenance
  • Strong understanding of Logistics Supportability Analysis (LSA), Logistics Product Data (LPD), Maintenance Task Analysis (MTA), Level of Repair Analysis (LORA) and other Supportability Analyses
  • Previous experience working with or within the F-35 JPO
