Description

SAIC seeks an experienced Senior Logistics Analyst to support the US Space Force, Space Systems Command, in performing operational maintenance and sustainment of ground-based radars critical to US and Allied strategic missile surveillance, warning, defense, and space surveillance missions in support of the government customer, the SAIC Program Manager, and the Chief Engineer. This position is in Colorado Springs, Colorado. 

Job Duties:

  • Support Incremental Sustainment Services engineering teams as a liaison between the project team and Integrated Product Support services.
  • Develop logistics product summaries in accordance with SAE GEIA STD-0007C e.g., Recommended Spare Parts Lists and Deactivated Equipment Lists
  • Collect and deliver supporting technical documentation such as COTS manuals, specification sheets and drawings.
  • Perform sparing analysis using Poisson Distribution, Collect and develop Engineering Data for Provisioning, and perform logistics analysis using logistics tools and metrics
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute lifecycle logistics and sustainment activities in support of program objectives, to include contract and customer level status updates and briefings

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years’ relevant experience; experience may be accepted in lieu of degree
  • Active Secret Clearance.
  • Understand drawing and specification hierarchy and development, proficiency in interpreting and understanding technical documentation such as Technical Orders, Indentured Parts Lists, and Specification Sheets.
  • Experience with Developing, updating, and maintaining Logistics Product Data (LPD), Logistics Product Information (LMI), and related logistics records within approved logistics management tools and databases
  • Working knowledge of acquisition life cycle processes and product development
  • Experience researching and updating form, fit, function replacement items on the systems
  • Experience with the development and maintenance of Bills of Materials (BOMs), parts lists, and supportability data
