As a Bridge Engineering Senior Project Manager at Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design, planning, and execution of bridge projects to ensure exceptional client satisfaction, positioning our firm as a trusted partner in the Bridge space
  • Drive business development efforts and contribute to strategic planning for market growth in Ohio and surrounding regions
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key client decision-makers and remain informed of upcoming project opportunities
  • Collaborate on project pursuits, proposals, scopes, and schedules
  • Oversee multi-disciplinary project teams, including geotechnical, roadway, and permitting professionals
  • Ensure quality assurance and technical excellence across all project documentation
  • Ensure project profitability, resource allocation, and seamless transitions of work to qualified staff
  • Mentor and develop engineering staff across all levels, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration
  • Lead and grow a high-performing team of engineers and designers delivering bridge design, rehabilitation, inspection and load rating projects for our OH and surrounding area clients

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • Professional Engineering License (P.E.) registration in OH, or ability to be registered with reciprocity within 6 months of employment
  • 15+ years of proven experience in bridge design, including leadership on design-build and design-bid-build projects
  • Strong communication, leadership and technical skills necessary to lead a team of structural engineers and CADD technicians in production to meet client goals
  • Extensive client contacts and relationships, business development skills, proven ability to win work and marketing experience including writing proposals, scopes of work, and budgeting for projected work
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office required
  • Proficiency with ORD, MicroStation, Civil 3D and bridge design software
  • Demonstrated communication and team leadership skills
