Job description

Our work depends on a TS/SCI cleared HPC Linux Engineer joining our team to support our Department of Defense (DoD) customer. Work on a development team, utilizing Agile scrum methodology, which is responsible for developing and maintain agency wide asynchronous messaging capability deployed across multiple security domains. The environment supports multiple tenants with a variety of different use cases. Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
โ€ข O&M of existing Apache Pulsar services hosted on Red Hat Openshift across multiple security domains in both Cloud and datacenter (vSphere) environments.
โ€ข Support deployment using Red Hat Openshift, Keycloak, Gitlab, Gitlab CI, GitOps, Harbor, and more.
โ€ข Deploy to new sites as they come online.
โ€ข Work with internal and external teams to understand integration requirements
โ€ข Work with Security to ensure ongoing compliance and develop secure solutions
โ€ข Compile detailed documentation WHAT YOUโ€™LL NEED TO SUCCEED: Education/Experience: โ€ข Bachelor's Degree in Computer Programming, Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline.
โ€ข 10+ years Developer experience
โ€ข Meet DoD 8570 IAT Level II requirements including one of the following: Security+ CE, CND, SSCP, GSEC, GICSP, CySA+, or CCNA Desired Skills:
โ€ข Experience deploying and managing RedHat OpenShift in a cloud and/or vSphere environment
โ€ข Experience with Amazon Web Services
โ€ข Python, Shell scripting, Git (desired)
โ€ข Linux distributions: RHEL/RHCOS, CentOS
โ€ข CI/CD orchestration tools: GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitOps
โ€ข Container technology: Docker, Kubernetes, and Cloud Native Computing Foundation ecosystem in general Desired Certifications:
