Job description

Title: Sr. Linux Kernal Developer

Location: San Jose CA

Mode: Hybrid

Duration: 6 Months -1 Year

Onsite Interview: Yes

JD:

  • 10+ years of hands-on experience in software development systems.
  • Excellent systems programming skills using C and/or other low-level programming languages.
  • Proficiency with Linux development environments and development tools.
  • Strong understanding of Operating Systems concepts, including processes, threads, scheduling, memory management, synchronization, file systems, and networking.
  • Strong debugging and troubleshooting experience at the OS, kernel, or hardware interaction layer.
  • Hands-on experience with at least one hardware architecture, preferably x86.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering enterprise-grade software products to customers.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to decompose complex technical challenges into practical solutions.
  • Experience with software design, performance optimization, scalability, and reliability engineering.
  • Knowledge of the Linux KVM (Kernel-based Virtual Machine) stack.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics, or a related technical field.
