Rosenblum Law is seeking a senior-level Marketing Director to own, lead, and scale our entire marketing operation. This is a hands-on leadership role with real budget authority, team oversight, and executive visibility.

You will report directly to the COO and be responsible for strategy, execution, and performance across all marketing channels for a fast-growing, multi-practice law firm.

Law firm experience is NOT required. What is required is proven experience building and managing marketing systems that drive growthespecially across digital, content, email, and social channels.

Role Overview

The Marketing Director will own all marketing channels and initiatives, oversee internal staff and external agencies, and manage a $700,000+ annual marketing budget. This role blends strategic leadership with strong editorial judgment and operational discipline.

This is an in-office role in Clifton, NJ, with flexibility for one remote day per week once fully onboarded.

Key Responsibilities Marketing Strategy & Leadership
  • Own and execute the firm's overall marketing strategy across all practice areas
  • Translate firm goals into clear marketing priorities, campaigns, and KPIs
  • Partner closely with the COO and firm leadership on growth initiatives
Channel Oversight (End-to-End Ownership)
  • Email marketing (campaigns, automations, newsletters)
  • Social media (organic + paid strategy and growth)
  • Content marketing (written + video)
  • Paid search (overseeing and managing an external agency)
  • Conversion rate optimization (landing pages, funnels, forms)
  • Design & creative direction
  • Traditional advertising, including direct mail
  • Estate planning events & workshops, working closely with the EP team
Marketing Technology, Automation & AI
  • Own and improve the firm's marketing automation stack
  • Design and optimize email, SMS, CRM, and lead-nurture workflows
  • Identify opportunities to reduce manual work through automation
  • Ensure clean data flow between marketing platforms, CRM, and intake systems
  • Evaluate, select, and manage marketing and AI vendors/tools
Team & Vendor Management
  • Manage and develop the existing Marketing Support team member
  • Hire and oversee a Social Media Manager
  • Oversee and hold accountable external agencies and vendors
  • Ensure timelines, quality, and performance standards are met
Editorial & Brand Oversight
  • Serve as the final quality gatekeeper for all outward-facing marketing
  • Ensure consistency, clarity, and professionalism across all communications
  • Maintain strong brand voice across email, content, ads, and social
Budget & Performance Management
  • Own and manage a $700,000+ annual marketing budget
  • Track ROI, channel performance, and campaign effectiveness
  • Make data-driven decisions on spend allocation and optimization
Required Experience & Qualifications
  • Law firm experience is NOT required.
  • 510 years of marketing leadership experience with hands-on ownership of digital channels
  • Proven experience managing paid and organic social growth
  • Strong background in email marketing, content strategy, and editorial review
  • Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or similar major strongly preferred
  • Exceptional attention to detail and editorial judgment
  • Experience managing agencies and vendors
  • Comfortable operating at both strategic and execution levels
  • Confident leader with the ability to manage, hire, and develop team members
