We're seeking a Senior Landscape Architect to lead transformative projects, mentor emerging talent, and help shape the future of our growing practice. This is an opportunity to take ownership of meaningful work from concept through construction while partnering with clients, engineers, planners, and design professionals to create environments that strengthen communities.

In this role, you'll help guide a diverse portfolio of projects including parks, mixed-use developments, commercial sites, and master-planned communities, balancing visionary design with practical implementation. You'll have the opportunity to influence project direction, cultivate client relationships, and contribute to the continued growth of an employee-owned organization that values collaboration, quality, and long-term success.

What You'll Do

As a Senior leader within the team, you'll play a key role in both project delivery and professional development by:

  • Leading project teams through all phases of design and construction.
  • Mentoring and developing landscape architects and design staff.
  • Managing complex projects while balancing quality, budget, schedule, and client expectations.
  • Creating innovative and sustainable design solutions across a variety of project types.
  • Collaborating closely with clients, consultants, and multidisciplinary teams to bring project visions to life.
  • Strengthening client relationships through ongoing engagement, networking, proposals, and presentations.
  • Guiding entitlement, permitting, and regulatory processes to support successful project approvals.
  • Overseeing site planning, land development, and landscape architecture design efforts.
  • Managing project budgets, schedules, staffing, and resources.
  • Solving design and construction challenges while maintaining project goals and design intent.
  • Contributing to a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and design excellence.

What You Bring

You are an experienced landscape architect who combines technical expertise with leadership and relationship-building skills.

Required Qualifications
  • 8+ years of progressive landscape architecture experience.
  • Professional Landscape Architect License (PLA/RLA).
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture.
  • Experience leading projects involving parks, commercial developments, mixed-use projects, or master-planned communities.
  • Strong knowledge of site planning, permitting, entitlement, and land development processes.
  • Proven experience managing project budgets, schedules, and project teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor, develop, and inspire design professionals.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and client relationship management skills.
  • Portfolio showcasing design excellence and experience across multiple project phases.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Civil 3D and Revit.
  • Background in land development and site layout.
  • Experience supporting business development efforts, proposals, and client interviews.
  • Strong understanding of sustainable design principles and best practices.
  • A passion for mentoring and helping others grow professionally.
