Job Description:
Job Summary
Purdue University's award-winning, in-house agency, Purdue Brand Studio, is seeking a Senior Graphic Designer or Graphic Designer to help shape the visual voice of one of the world's top universities. This is an opportunity to join a collaborative creative team that values innovation, storytelling, and excellence in design.
In this role, you'll create marketing and brand experiences across print, digital, and experiential channels, developing thoughtful visual solutions that advance Purdue's brand and support a wide range of university initiatives, campaigns, and audiences. Depending on experience and qualifications, the selected candidate will contribute to and/or lead the development of creative concepts and visual solutions that support major university initiatives, campaigns, and evolving priorities.
The ideal candidate will bring strong design fundamentals, creative judgment, and the ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining a high standard of craft. Experience collaborating within an integrated creative team is essential, as you'll work closely with writers, strategists, photographers, developers, and project managers to bring ideas to life.
This role also supports photography and video initiatives, including participation in on-site shoots and productions as needed. Expertise in print production and social media formats is required, while experience with motion graphics, video, UX/UI design, or other emerging creative tools is highly desirable.
We're looking for a designer with a strong portfolio, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative mindset who is excited to contribute meaningful work and make a lasting impact on Purdue's brand storytelling.
