Job description

Job Title: Javascript Developer
Clearance Required: US Citizen, Public Trust
Work Location: Hybrid.
Alpha Omega is currently seeking a detail-oriented Javascript Developer to join one of our long-term Federal projects.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Typically required to work as a team member under the direction of senior personnel utilizing an agile methodology.
  • Peer program alongside mid-level and senior developers in JavaScript/Typescript, node, NestJS, and React tech stack
  • Utilize Azure DevOps and Git repositories
  • Develop end-to-end and unit tests for front end functionality

Required Experience/Skills:
  • 1-2 years of related work experience with progressively increasing responsibility.
  • Experience with UI/UX design implementation
  • Experience with RESTful API design and development preferred
  • Experience with Azure DevOps preferred
  • Knowledge of working in a demanding agile environment, responding to client requests, and working with inside and outside stakeholders
  • Familiarity with API/Data-driven web applications
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, as well as excellent communication skills, verbal and written to both technical and non-technical audiences through remote communication tools
  • Initiative to recommend process improvements and demonstrate creative thinking

(Required or Preferred) Education:
  • BA/BS in Information Systems Management, Computer Science or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.

Salary and Benefit Information:
The likely salary range for this position is $80,000 - $90,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position and could fall outside of this range.
