My Client is headquartered in Greenwich, Connecticut and has over 1,200 employees in its offices in the USA, Switzerland, Canada, Hong Kong, UK, Australia, Hungary, Russia, Japan, India, China and Estonia. My Client is regulated by the SEC, FINRA, NYSE, FCA and other regulatory agencies around the world.
Job Description
1. Brokerage platform development -- front and/or back-end, depending on experience.
2. Back end: Core Java. Data model and transport layers. Multithreaded/high throughput. XML.
3. Work on one of the core brokerage processes that deals with user authentication to access trading, account management and other customer applications.
4. Adding new features and interfaces that deal with user authentication.
5. Work on expanding second factor authentication offering.
Qualifications
1. Bachelor's in EE, CS, Math, Physics or similar (Masters/PhD a plus).
2. Technically oriented, proactive, and enthusiastic, with extreme attention to detail.
3. 5+ years' Java experience.
4. Knowledge of core Java.
5. Working with Database development SQL and PL/SQL is a plus.
6. English written/verbal communication skills.
7. Mobile software development a plus.
