Salary (DOE)

Senior Accountant: $90,000 – $115,000
Senior Tax Accountant: $95,000 – $120,000

A well-established Japanese accounting firm is seeking experienced accounting professionals to join its growing team.
We are currently hiring for the following two positions:
  • Senior Accountant
  • Senior Tax Accountant

Key Responsibilities

Senior Accountant

  • Prepare and review financial statements and supporting schedules
  • Perform month-end and year-end closing activities
  • Maintain general ledger and account reconciliations
  • Prepare financial reports and analyses for clients
  • Communicate directly with clients regarding accounting matters
  • Support junior staff and collaborate with internal team members
Senior Tax Accountant

  • Prepare and review corporate tax returns and related filings
  • Manage corporate tax compliance and reporting
  • Support tax planning and advisory services
  • Communicate with clients regarding tax matters and documentation
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate filings
  • Stay current with changes in tax laws and regulations
Qualifications

Senior Accountant

  • 3–5 years of accounting experience in public accounting, audit, consulting, or corporate accounting
  • Public accounting or audit experience preferred
  • Big 4 experience highly preferred
  • CPA license is not required; however, CPA candidates are encouraged to apply
Senior Tax Accountant

  • 3–5 years of corporate tax experience
  • Public accounting or in-house tax experience
  • Big 4 tax firms and IRA experience highly preferred
  • CPA or EA license is not required; however, CPA/EA candidates are encouraged to apply
Preferred Qualifications
