Job description

Our client is seeking an IT Program Manager for a 12+ month hybrid contract in Arlington, TX.


Job Duties:

  • Communicating up and down the stack –interacting with executives, engineers and architects, business groups and shared services
  • Leading the tech standardization efforts to streamline technology and tools needed to support business needs
  • Support the assessment of technology capabilities to drive modernization activities
  • Build and develop effective relationships with different IT and product teams to find opportunities for increase business value while modernizing our applications
  • Drive an effective delivery approach and think out of the box to deliver value quickly while managing costs strategically
  • Document and conduct presentations for technical, business and leadership audiences to promote strategy and communicate progress on assigned initiatives
  • Support in planning activities across goals, KRs, KPIs etc. as it relates to program outcomes
  • Assist with change management activities for the team and beyond
  • Champion the financials of the assigned program, and support inputs to yearly budget, and ongoing financial planning
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for process enhancements and driving operational efficiency within the program


Required Skills:

  • Experience working with both agile and waterfall methodologies
  • Ability to manage up to 15 projects simultaneously
  • Experience in managing large, complex project teams using a variety of methodologies and supporting technologies
  • Ability to use AI tools such as Copilot to create a WBS and expedite turnarounds
  • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to create and manage program plans, budgets, and resources effectively
  • Strong leadership and influencing skills, with the ability to drive consensus and manage stakeholders at all levels
  • Ability to identify and understand technical dependencies between initiatives
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team


Experience:

  • 7-10 years of experience in technology program leadership roles required
  • Financial services industry, Loan origination & lending experience preferred


Licenses:

  • PMP, Scrum Master, PgMP and PMI-ACP certifications are a plus.
