Job description

Waldron Private Wealth (Waldron) is looking for a Sr. Investment Research Analyst to conduct research on the economy and markets, perform due diligence on new and existing opportunities within both public and private markets, and drive the communication of key market events, investment outlooks, and asset allocation and investment decisions to the advisory staff.
In this role, you will:
  1. Act as a subject matter expert in one or more functions within the research team and manage assigned functions.
  2. Execute the due diligence process for new and existing investment strategies, working with team members to complete relevant reporting and communicating analysis of potential investments.
  3. Analyze and communicate drivers of investment performance within recommended asset allocations to internal team members.
  4. Understand and be able to communicate the investment philosophy and process to the Wealth Advisory team.
  5. Review reports for meetings of the Investment Strategy Group and Investment Committee and assist in the presentation of those materials.
  6. Complete monthly and quarterly investment commentaries and deliver market updates to the Wealth Advisory team and Portfolio Management team.
  7. Support the goals and visions outlined by the Investment Committee.
  8. Collaborate across teams to research new resources and technologies to add efficiencies to the investment process.
  9. Communicate with Client Portfolio Managers and Advisory teams for ad hoc client requests.
  10. Create monthly and quarterly due diligence reporting.
Education and Experience Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's Degree in finance or related field required.
  2. Minimum of four (4) years of investment research or wealth management experience required. Six (6) years preferred.
  3. Experience in the UHNW space preferred.
  4. Three (3) years of investment research experience within public and/or private markets required.
  5. CFA charterholder or another approved advanced credential required.
  6. Investment Adviser Representative registration eligibility required within 3 months of start date (e.g. CFPโ ยฎ, ChFC, PFS, CFA, CIC, Series 65, or Series 66).
