View Capital Advisors, LLC is a growing wealth management firm based in Dallas serving HNW individuals, families, and institutional clients in both the United States and abroad. We are looking for an Investment Research Analyst who will be responsible for performing investment research and due diligence leading to investment recommendations for the firm’s client advisors and clients. The Research Analyst is also responsible for monitoring assigned investment holdings and assisting the Chief Investment Officer in developing asset allocation framework and risk management strategies. We allocate capital across both traditional and non-traditional asset classes through separate accounts, mutual funds, ETFs as well as investment limited partnerships, so the focus will be on manager and fund research due diligence, as opposed to individual security research. The ideal candidate will bring strong investment judgement, good quantitative and qualitative due diligence skills, intellectual curiosity, and must have experience and a body of knowledge investing in various non-traditional investments including hedge funds, private equity and real estate strategies. In addition, this role will be expected to utilize various AI tools to improve research efficiency, analytical depth, documentation, and monitoring that can be integrated into the firm’s investment process.

Position Responsibilities: Research & Analysis of Investments

Identify and research new investment opportunities including perform quantitative and qualitative analysis, and assist in the negotiation, structuring and implementation

Manage relationships with current fund managers and monitor existing investments including quarterly reviews and comparative analysis of recommended investments

Be familiar with widely-used AI tools to enhance the investment research and due diligence process while maintaining rigorous human judgement, verification, and fiduciary oversight

Investment Recommendation & Communication

Present investment recommendations monthly to the advisor team

Prepare internal memoranda and other materials used to support investment recommendations

Collaborate with advisors on individual client accounts

Assist in the development of an asset allocation framework for use by advisors

Position Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree with MBA and/or CFA or CAIA preferred

Passion for investments and intellectual curiosity

High level of energy and initiative, strong relationship-building, organizational and communication skills

Strong analytical and quantitative skills

Close attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as a member of a team.

3-5 years of experience in investment research, investment management, wealth management, banking or capital markets

Strong Knowledge of alternative investments (hedge funds, private equity, private credit and real estate), asset allocation theory and modeling, portfolio management, investment analysis and performance measurement

Ability to travel domestically and internationally
