Role Summary

Senior finance leadership role responsible for enterprise Supply Chain FP&A, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and advanced analytics. Acts as a strategic partner to SVP and Supply Chain leadership, driving decision support, cost optimization, and working capital performance while advancing predictive FP&A capabilities.

Acts as the primary FP&A integration point for Pharmacy Services (Mail and Specialty) aligning cross-segment financial strategies and enabling enterprise-level decision-making

Scope & Impact

Oversees ~$1B+ in Supply Chain spend, including inventory, operating expenses, capital, and working capital metrics
Leads a team of 3-4 FTEs across planning, reporting, and analytics
Enterprise accountability for financial planning, forecast accuracy, and performance outcomes
Direct impact on cost optimization, inventory productivity, and cash flow improvement
Operates as the primary bridge between Supply Chain operations and FP&A

Executive Partnership & Exposure

Primary finance partner to SVP and Supply Chain leadership team
Regular interaction with VP FP&A, CFO, and segment leadership
Prepares and delivers executive materials for forecasts, capital plans, and strategic reviews

Decision Rights & Accountability

Owns end-to-end financial plans (budget, forecast, long-range plan)
Influences capital prioritization and resource allocation decisions
Accountable for forecast integrity, variance management, and risk mitigation
Establishes financial governance, KPI frameworks, and reporting standards
Influences inventory strategy, cost structure, and working capital decisions

Key Responsibilities

Lead annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and multi-year planning
Support month-end close and financial reporting
Develop KPIs and performance frameworks
Leverage analytics (statistical modeling, optimization, data mining, AI)
Build dashboards and reporting tools
Partner cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Operations, and Finance
Lead and develop team performance and capabilities

Required Qualifications

10+ years of experience is required.

3+ years leading Supply Chain FP&A (budgeting, forecasting, capital planning) preferred
Demonstrated enterprise scope, influencing senior leadership decisions
Advanced financial modeling and analytics expertise
Proven leadership of teams and cross-functional initiatives
Experience driving transformation, automation, or predictive analytics


Education
Bachelor's degree/specialized training/relevant professional qualifications or equivalent years of experience is required.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$100,000.00 - $231,540.00


This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.
