Position Summary

Located in southeast Missouri, Bloomfield is a small town withrichhistory, and we are proud to call it home to one of our litter factories since 1976. Our factory in Bloomfield was the first to produce Lightweight litter, a product that weighs half the amount of conventional litter, revolutionizing the pet care industry. An innovative feature of this factory is an overhead bridge that allows full pallets of finished products to be conveyed to the distribution center just north of the factory. This innovation, along with others, played a significant role in Nestle Purina earning the Malcolm Baldrige Award, the highest level of national recognition for performance excellence that a U.S. organization can receive. Our factory also works todo our part to care for the environment, like conserving water, investing in renewableelectricity,andmaintainingzero waste for disposal.In 2020, our Bloomfield factory underwent a 110,000-square-foot expansion in processing and packaging, thanks to a $115 million investment. This expansion allowed Nestle Purina to meet the growing demand from cat owners. As aSenior Inventory Control Coordinator,you'lllead inventory accuracy and system performance efforts in our largest, most automateddistributioncenter. Working closely with cross-functional teams,you'lltroubleshoot complex challenges, support daily operations, and become a key technical resource within the facility. Must be willing to work 12-hour night shifts including some weekends 

  • Responsible formaintainingthe operation at peak efficiency through standard routines and your learned insight. 

  • Respond swiftly and effectively to systems,logic,or physical issues that hold up throughput. 

  • Support FirstExpirations/First Out product management by close monitoring of thesystem'sperformance. 

  • Manage product quarantine or inspections required by the factory. 

  • Work directly with Team Leaders, Warehouse administration, and communicate with other ASRS Specialists, Warehouse Technicians, Production Personnel, Operations Planning Management, and QA.Additionally, you will be part of a network of peers at other factories and Headquarters support staff. 

  • Lead orparticipatein shift handover meetings and other continuous improvement activities, effectively applying the lean methodologiesappropriate toeliminatewaste and deliver results. 

  • Collaborate with teams across multiple departments for continuous improvement efforts. 

Requirements 

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent 

  • 2+ years' experience working in a manufacturing, warehouse, production,logistics, military, or related environment 

The approximate pay range for this position is $43,000 to $60,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge,skillsand abilities as well as geographic location.
