  • Partner with retail operations to develop, refine, and implement inventory management processes as needed.

Inventory Management & Productivity

  • Maintain optimal inventory levels across distribution centers and store locations.
  • Monitor aged inventory, slow-moving SKUs, and at-risk items; recommend markdowns or reallocation strategies to the Buyer.
  • Proactively develop inventory health scorecards and action plans to mitigate risk and protect margin.

Reporting, Analytics & Insights

  • Conduct post-mortems on promotions, product launches, and seasonal programs, translating learnings into forward-looking recommendations.
  • Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Partner with the Buyer in weekly performance meetings to surface opportunities and optimize revenue.
Qualifications
  • 5-8+ years of experience in retail planning, allocation, or merchandise strategy.
  • Experience in high-SKU, high-velocity retail categories (CPG, convenience, accessories, or adjacent channels).
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with retail planning systems preferred.
