Sr. Inventory Specialist

Location: Whitsett, NC 27377
Shift: 1st Shift, Monday–Friday
Pay: $36–$38/hour

Job Summary

Lenovo is seeking a Senior Inventory Specialist to monitor 3PL warehouse operations and ensure accurate inventory processing, receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and auditing. The ideal candidate must have strong inventory-control experience and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor 3PL operations and validate inventory activities.
  • Audit inbound/outbound shipments and inventory records.
  • Ensure accurate receiving, storage, picking, and replenishment.
  • Monitor high-value inventory and perform cycle counts.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate records using computerized inventory systems.
  • Prepare inventory, receiving, and delivery reports.
  • Support WIP inventory and manufacturing operations.
  • Assist with training inventory staff and 3PL personnel.
  • Ensure warehouse safety, organization, and cleanliness.
  • Support continuous improvement and quality initiatives.

Requirements:

  • 5–10 years of inventory/warehouse experience with a stable work history.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory control and auditing.
  • At least 4 years of warehouse receiving experience.
  • Experience with 3PL operations preferred.
  • WMS experience such as SAP, Oracle, or similar systems.
  • Strong Excel/MS Office skills.
  • Experience with cycle counts, inventory reconciliation, and KPI tracking.
  • Forklift certification.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Lean, Six Sigma, or ISO experience preferred.
  • Electronics manufacturing or distribution experience preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in logistics/business or equivalent experience.
