Job description

Job Summary:
Execute the immediate strategies established by the Orgill leadership team and communicated via the Sr. Inventory Planning Manager. This role is responsible for an assigned product category to successfully achieve both Company and Customer goals.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Execute replenishment and promotional purchase orders to achieve category financial targets, focusing on inventory management, turnover, and service levels.
  • Collaborate with merchandising teams to ensure effective execution of promotions and new item launches.
  • Analyze SKU productivity at individual distribution centers and implement strategies to enhance inventory performance for assigned categories.
  • Collaborate with the category's inventory analyst by providing training and shared knowledge.
  • Manage the expedited handling of vendor freight as required.
  • Maintain regular on-site attendance and fulfill additional tasks as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Advanced knowledge of and ability in using various software applications, particularly Excel, or Access, Word and PowerPoint
  • Experience with replenishment systems and data reporting systems.
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to establish priorities, work independently, proceed with objectives with little or no supervision, and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent analytical abilities with ability to review facts and weigh options when solving problems and making decisions.
  • Ability to deal with a variety of changing situations under stress
  • Ability to organize materials, manage time and prioritize tasks

Minimum Job Qualifications:
  • Three to five years of experience in same or similar field
  • Experience with replenishment systems and supply chain management
  • Must be willing to travel for Company related functions as needed - requirements may vary.
