Our Supply Chain team plays a vital role in ensuring our programs have the materials, equipment, and services needed to meet customer commitments across development, production, and sustainment efforts. This position supports commercial, Department of Defense, and international programs by managing complex supplier relationships and driving subcontract execution.
THE WORK
You will be responsible for managing supplier cost, schedule, and technical performance for moderate-to-high-risk subcontracts supporting a variety of programs and contract types. You will lead multifunctional subcontract management teams and serve as the primary interface between Lockheed Martin and suppliers throughout the subcontract lifecycle.
Key responsibilities include:
• Managing complex build-to-print, performance specification, and modified Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) subcontracts.
• Developing subcontract specifications, statements of work, and terms and conditions for specialized materials, equipment, and services.
• Preparing bid packages, conducting bidder conferences, and establishing source selection criteria.
• Evaluating supplier proposals, performing cost and price analyses, and leading subcontract negotiations.
• Selecting or recommending suppliers and preparing subcontract award packages.
• Administering awarded subcontracts, including change management activities and performance monitoring.
• Exercising procurement authority and executing supplier agreements and purchase orders within delegated authority levels.
• Collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure supplier performance aligns with program objectives for cost, quality, delivery, and technical requirements.

You excel at balancing competing priorities while maintaining compliance with company policies and contractual requirements.
WHY JOIN US
Joining Lockheed Martin means becoming part of a team dedicated to innovation, mission success, and making a difference. You'll have the opportunity to work on some of the world's most advanced aerospace and defense programs while collaborating with talented professionals across the enterprise. We offer challenging work, career growth opportunities, and a culture that values integrity, inclusion, and continuous learning.
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or equivalent experience/combined education.
• Experience managing supplier relationships, procurement activities, purchasing, supply chain management, subcontract administration, or related business operations.
