Effective collaboration involves clear communication, advocating for user-centered design principles, and ensuring that the final product aligns with both business goals and user needs. This role frequently requires balancing multiple viewpoints and facilitating consensus among diverse team members.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a senior interaction designer, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Senior Interaction Designer, you need expertise in user experience (UX) principles, user interface (UI) design, prototyping, and a relevant degree or equivalent experience. Mastery of design tools like Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, and familiarity with usability testing platforms are typically required.
