Job description

Koniag IT Systems, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Senior Intelligence and Security Advisor with a TS/SCI security clearance to support KITS and our government customer in Falls Church, VA. These areas include Acquisitions, Policy, AI and Data Model Implementation, Utilization, Protection, Test & Evaluation, Strategic Communications, and Partner Engagement. Thoughtful and continuous use of intelligence, counterintelligence, and security products, practices, and services throughout the CDAO will ensure an uncompromised American advantage in AI, data, analytics, and digital services at scale. The Senior Intelligence & Security position is a critical role within the CDAO.

The successful candidate will support the development of CDAO policies and guidance on AI, data, and technology protection principles, assess the organization's intelligence and counterintelligence needs, and maintain awareness of adversary progress in implementing AI and digital services. This position requires a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of intelligence and counterintelligence matters. Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to: * Serve as a senior staff advisor to the Director, Sensitive Intelligence for the CDAO on matters of intelligence informing CDAO strategies and activities, as well as counterintelligence and program protection functions to safeguard CDAO information, technology and assets.

* Provide direct support to the drafting and coordination of CDAO policy and guidance to the department on AI, data, and associated technology protection principles and practices. * Assess the intelligence needs of the CDAO based on its mission centers and priorities, working with national intelligence officers, portfolio managers, and threat managers throughout the Intelligence Community (IC) enterprise to properly inform intelligence collection, production, and analysis. * Assess the counterintelligence needs of the CDAO on an initiative basis, identifying vulnerable access points within the organization, matched to a credible threat from foreign intelligence entities, using career-built relationships with Military Department Counterintelligence Organizations, Defense Law Enforcement Agencies, IC Agencies, and other relevant government agencies.

* Maintain a robust awareness of pacing adversary progress and implementation of AI, data, analytics, and digital services into their defense enterprise, associated political will and objectives using open-source information, law enforcement information, and national intelligence information. Minimum Candidate Requirements: * 15+ years of demonstrated experience. * Exceptional attention to detail * Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

* Demonstrated success working both independently and as part of a team, with strong multitasking skills. * Excellent written and oral communication abilities * Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field, required. Desired Candidate Experience: * Broad understanding of the pacing threats posed from principal adversaries as it relates to Strategic Competition in AI, Data and Analytics.

* Experience within the last five years in the Joint Staff, OUSD(I&S), or other OSD-level component, preferred if related to technology, AI/ML, data analytics or data protection. * Previous experience authoring or editing DoD issuances including Directives and Instructions * Ability rapidly understand and apply new concepts. * Previous experience in the implementation and measures of performance of various active/passive counterintelligence measures and associated organizational security practices and postures * Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with impeccable multi-tasking abilities.
