Job description

ServiceNow FSO Architect โ€” 100% Remote (U.S.)

U.S. Citizenship Required | FSO Experience Mandatory

Architect the Future of Security on ServiceNow

We are seeking a ServiceNow FSO Architect to lead the design and execution of secure, compliant, AI-enabled ServiceNow environments supporting highly regulated federal and commercial programs.

This is not a build-only role.
This is a systems architect position at the intersection of ServiceNow, security compliance, and intelligent automation.

You will define how FSO-driven security requirements translate into scalable, modern platform architecture.

What Makes This Role Different:
  • You will architect, not just configure
  • You will embed real-world FSO expertise into digital systems
  • You will leverage AI, automation, and workflow intelligence to modernize compliance
  • You will do it all in a 100% remote, high-performance environment
What You'll Own:ServiceNow Architecture & Strategy
  • Design end-to-end ServiceNow architectures across GRC, SecOps, and ITSM
  • Define scalable data models, workflows, and integrations aligned to security requirements
  • Establish platform governance, standards, and best practices
FSO-Driven Security Architecture
  • Translate NISPOM, DCSA, RMF, and NIST frameworks into platform design
  • Architect workflows supporting:
    • Personnel security
    • Facility compliance
    • Incident response & audit readiness
AI & Intelligent Automation
  • Design AI-enabled workflows for:
    • Risk identification
    • Compliance tracking
    • Audit preparation
  • Leverage ServiceNow capabilities (Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, AI features) to drive efficiency and insight
Integration & Platform Engineering
  • Architect integrations across:
    • Identity & access management (IAM)
    • Security tooling (SIEM, vulnerability platforms)
    • Enterprise systems
  • Ensure high availability, performance, and data integrity
Governance, Risk & Continuous Compliance
  • Lead platform alignment with federal security standards
  • Ensure audit readiness and traceability across all workflows
  • Serve as a strategic advisor on security architecture and compliance automation
What You MUST Bring:
  • U.S. Citizenship REQUIRED
  • Minimum 3+ years of direct FSO (Facility Security Officer) experience
  • 7+ years of ServiceNow experience with architecture-level responsibility
  • Proven experience designing ServiceNow GRC, SecOps, or enterprise workflows
  • Bachelor's degree required (Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related)
What Will Set You Apart:
  • ServiceNow certifications (CSA, CIS, CAD, GRC, SecOps)
  • Experience supporting federal contractors or regulated environments
  • Deep knowledge of NISPOM, RMF, NIST, DCSA
  • Experience implementing AI-driven workflows or automation in ServiceNow
  • Ability to operate as a technical leader and strategic advisor
Why This Role Stands Out:
  • 100% Remote (U.S.-based)
  • No active clearance required
  • High-impact, high-visibility architecture work
  • Opportunity to define how security and compliance evolve through AI and platform engineering
Who You Are:
  • A true architect โ€” you design systems, not just execute tasks
  • A security-minded thinker with real FSO experience
  • Comfortable operating in complex, regulated environments
  • Able to translate policy platform automation
Important:

This role requires direct FSO experience and ServiceNow architecture experience.
Candidates without both will not be considered.
