Job description

Role Summary

Develop, maintain, and monitor activity-specific KPIs to evaluate key Medical Affairs activities, measure impact, and provide data-driven transparency on resource allocation.

Role Responsibilities
  • Support KPI and analysis definition: collaborate to compute KPIs; assist with analysis planning and insights communication; lead cross-functional Impact & Outcome projects; mentor Data Analysts; manage outsource vendors for data analytics execution.
  • Planning and conduct analytics: develop and calculate Medical Affairs metrics; analyze KPIs for trends/insights; extract insights from external stakeholder feedback to guide strategy; streamline KPI measurement/reporting/data management; assess feasibility, identify data sources, and process data for new/improved KPIs; build cascaded performance metrics linking individual/Category/Affiliate performance to Medical goals; monitor metrics and identify underperformance; advise on KPI usage/communication to drive behavior change; source/pull data to populate dashboards; maintain tools/models per best practices.
  • Data management: gather/prepare/maintain analytic datasets; oversee data systems with data management lead to ensure proper collection/storage/processing; support efficient, timely reporting and roadblocks.
  • Stakeholder collaboration: work with UI experts on dashboard visualization; collect user feedback; resolve technical/data issues.
Basic Qualifications
  • Advanced degree in life sciences, data analytics, or similar.
  • 8+ years (BS), 7+ years (MS), or 5+ years (PhD) in data analytics and dashboard/reporting.
  • Cross-functional leadership; people/project leadership (direct or matrixed); strong interpersonal skills; cross-cultural partnering; effective talent management; strong English communication; in-depth pharmaceutical medicine knowledge (clinical trial design, GCP, data interpretation, regulatory/promotional rules, legal/compliance, issue management).
Preferred Qualifications
  • MBA or related degree.
Travel
