Senior Electrical Engineer/PE
As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will be a key member of our Electrical & Instrumentation Department, collaborating with cross-disciplinary engineers, project managers, designers, and administrative staff. You’ll help bring ideas to life by developing electrical designs and drawings for a wide variety of industrial facilities, processing plants and other unique projects. You’ll act as a mentor for junior engineers and review drawings for accuracy and feasibility. This position has the opportunity to grow into a leadership role within AMG.

Your responsibilities will include:
Designing electrical systems including power distribution, control systems, and lighting for industrial environments
Developing single-line diagrams, wiring schematics, cable schedules, and layout drawings
Collaborating with other disciplines to ensure project success
Participating in field work as needed, including site visits and field verifications on occasionÂ
What we're looking for:
Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical EngineeringÂ
Professional Engineering license is highly preferred.
Solid understanding of power distribution systems, MCCs, cable sizing, power correction, variable frequency drives, transformers, switchgear, and lighting design
Familiarity with single-line diagrams and P&IDs
At least 5 years of electrical design experience, ideally in industrial processing environments
Proficiency in AutoCAD and REVITÂ
Working knowledge of Navisworks preferred
Experience using ETAP, SKM or EasyPower preferred
