Job description

Competitive Comp Early Stage Equity
Austin, TX Hybrid Early Product-Team Hire

Equal Parts is building the operating system for the modern insurance agency. Through a combination of acquisitions, in-house operations, and AI systems, we're creating a platform that scales relationships, not headcount.

We're looking for a Senior Product Manager to own a core layer of our platform - the systems the rest of the company runs on. Working with Engineering, Operations, Agencies, and Finance, you'll own the foundation, operational workflows, integrations, and the automation that sits on top of them. Your users aren't abstractions - you'll sit with the agency owners, producers, and service teams who work in this product every day.

The best person for this role takes an ambiguous, unowned problem area and drives it to shipped with minimal hand-holding. You prioritize hard, and you're technical enough to earn engineering's trust without prescribing the solution. It's early, so you'll help define the product function as much as the product.

What You'll Do
  • Own roadmap, requirements, and delivery for data foundation and finance-related initiatives
  • Define the systems, workflows, and data architecture required to support reporting, accounting, commissions, carrier data, and operational processes
  • Translate finance and operational workflows into scalable software solutions
  • Participate in acquisition integration workstreams, including data migrations, reporting standardization, and operational tooling
  • Own our clean data and financial process engine
  • Make the platform agent-ready: instrument every step so automation can safely act on data it can trust.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of product, operations, consulting, finance systems, or related experience
  • Experience working directly with founders, executives, or business leaders
  • Strong understanding of data architecture, data modeling, reporting systems, and operational workflows
  • Experience with financial systems, accounting workflows, commissions, revenue operations, and business reporting
  • Experience with BI tools, data warehouses, and analytics platforms
  • Experience leading data migrations, system implementations, or acquisition integrations
  • Experience in insurance, fintech, SaaS, or other operationally complex industries
  • Experience designing for AI and agentic automation
  • Genuine appetite for ambiguity - this is an early-stage role where you'll define the layer as you build it.

Benefits

For eligible employees - Equal Parts offers a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your health, well-being, and financial stability.

  • Major Medical Health Insuranceย - Robust medical coverage withย employer contributions toward premiums.
  • Voluntary Benefitsย - Access to dental, vision, supplemental life, disability, accident, and other optional coverages.
