Position Summary:
The Dining Room Supervisor is responsible for overseeing front-of-house dining operations and ensuring an exceptional dining experience for residents and guests. This role includes supervising and training dining staff, maintaining cleanliness and service standards, and collaborating with kitchen and healthcare teams to meet dietary needs and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise daily dining room operations, including scheduling and assigning duties to front-of-house staff.
  • Ensure a high standard of customer service, with attention to the needs of elderly residents.
  • Train, coach, and support servers to promote a positive team environment and professional service.
  • Monitor dining room cleanliness, table settings, and adherence to sanitation guidelines.
  • Collaborate with dietary and healthcare teams to ensure compliance with resident dietary requirements and medical needs.
  • Address resident concerns or feedback with professionalism and care.
  • Assist in onboarding new staff and conducting ongoing training sessions.
  • Support management with inventory tracking, ordering supplies, and operational improvements.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2 years of front-of-house experience in food service; supervisory experience strongly preferred.
