Are you a natural problem-solver who loves keeping things running smoothly?

At PrideStaff, we partner with top-tier manufacturing, packaging, and industrial facilities in the [Insert Area] area. We are currently looking for mechanically inclined Machine Operators who take pride in their equipment and their output. If you have experience setting up, running, and troubleshooting industrial machinery, we have an opportunity for you!

The Equipment You Know (And the Skills We Need):

We are hiring operators with experience in (but not limited to) the following machine types:

  • CNC & Machining: Mills, lathes, and routers.
  • Plastics & Molding: Injection molding, blow molding, and extrusion machines.
  • Packaging & Filling: Automated bottling lines, form-fill-seal machines, and cartoners.
  • Metal Fabrication: Brake presses, punch presses, shears, and stamping machines.
  • Converting & Printing: Slitters, rewinders, flexographic, or digital printing presses.
  • Process Equipment: Industrial mixers, blenders, and heat-treat ovens.

What You’ll Do:

As a Machine Operator, you are the captain of your equipment. Your daily responsibilities will include:

  • Setup & Changeovers: Prepare machines for production runs, including calibrating settings, loading raw materials, and performing efficient tooling changeovers.
  • Operation & Monitoring: Run the equipment efficiently while constantly monitoring gauges, dials, and digital screens to ensure optimal performance.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify jams, misalignments, or mechanical faults quickly. Perform minor adjustments and basic preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.
  • Quality Assurance: Use precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, tape measures) and visual checks to verify that the final product meets strict tolerance and quality standards.
  • Safety & Compliance: Strictly follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and maintain a safe, clean work environment in accordance with OSHA standards.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience: 1+ years of experience operating industrial machinery.
  • Mechanical Aptitude: You know your way around basic hand tools and possess strong troubleshooting skills.
  • Math & Blueprint Skills: Ability to read schematics, blueprints, or work orders, and perform basic industrial math (fractions, decimals).
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for an entire shift, lift up to 50lbs, and comfortably bend, reach, and move around large equipment.
  • Reliability: Excellent attendance history and a team-player mentality.
