Job Summary
We are seeking a Project Manager to join our Corporate Development team to support the integration of acquisitions and other strategic initiatives. This role is responsible for supporting the planning, execution, and monitoring of the integration process while ensuring alignment with the company's vision, goals, and values.
The Project Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams, key stakeholders, and external partners to ensure the successful delivery of project objectives within defined scope, budget, and timelines. Additionally, this role will support the development of resources and tools to build and enhance a standardized integration framework for acquisitions.
The candidate MUST be based in Fort Mill, SC, and will be required to travel to MPS/PGC sites as needed. Flexibility to work extended hours during critical integration periods is expected.
Job Duties
  • Support the end-to-end integration of acquisitions centered on activities from assessment through execution and signoff
  • Support other corporate strategic projects from initiation through closure
  • Develop and maintain these projects with detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and risk registers as required in coordination with our collaboration platform (Asana)
  • Coordinate and communicate with internal and external stakeholders, including senior executives, corporate functions, plants, and suppliers
  • Track and report on project progress, issues, and dependencies, and escalate as needed
  • Ensure compliance with the company's policies, standards, and best practices
  • Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement and value creation
  • Provide guidance and support to project team members and ensure effective collaboration and coordination
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Experience and Education
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in project management, preferably in mergers and acquisitions, corporate development, or consulting. Preferably experience with at least 2 M&A integrations
  • A PMP and/or CCMP certification (or equivalent) is a plus

  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks
