We are seeking an experienced Senior Infrastructure Systems Administrator to support, maintain, and enhance enterprise infrastructure within a complex global manufacturing and defense-focused environment. This hands-on role is responsible for the design, deployment, administration, security, and ongoing support of critical infrastructure platforms, including virtualization, Microsoft technologies, identity and access management, and enterprise systems. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with experience supporting highly regulated environments and mission-critical operations.
Responsibilities
  • Design, deploy, administer, and maintain enterprise virtualization environments utilizing Nutanix and VMware technologies.
  • Manage and support Windows Server infrastructure, including Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, LDAP, and related services.
  • Administer Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, Entra ID, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Intune.
  • Manage identity and access management solutions, including multi-factor authentication (MFA) and single sign-on (SSO).
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, optimize, and support enterprise infrastructure that supports business-critical and production workloads.
  • Lead vulnerability remediation efforts, patch management activities, disaster recovery planning, and infrastructure resiliency initiatives.
  • Implement and maintain security controls to protect systems, data, and services.
  • Ensure infrastructure environments comply with ITAR regulations, corporate policies, and industry security standards.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and system configurations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan, implement, and support infrastructure projects and upgrades.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in Systems Administration, Infrastructure Administration, or a related IT infrastructure role within enterprise environments.
  • Experience administering Nutanix and/or VMware virtualization platforms.
  • Experience managing Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, Entra ID (Azure Active Directory), Active Directory, and Windows Server.
  • Experience developing and maintaining PowerShell scripts for automation and administration.
  • Experience supporting backup and recovery solutions, disaster recovery programs, and infrastructure resiliency planning.
  • Experience troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues and conducting root cause analysis.
  • Experience working in ITAR-regulated environments and supporting compliance requirements related to export-controlled systems and data.
  • Knowledge of access controls, identity management, user eligibility requirements, system segregation, and regulatory compliance considerations for infrastructure and cloud technologies.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Nutanix certifications and advanced Nutanix administration experience.
  • Experience supporting Hyper-V, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and/or Microsoft Azure environments.
  • Experience with Veeam Backup & Recovery.
  • Experience supporting defense, aerospace, manufacturing, or other highly regulated industries.
  • Experience with Microsoft Configuration Manager (SCCM), Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), Citrix technologies, and Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions.
  • Experience supporting engineering applications and specialized enterprise software environments.
