Job Title: Senior Business Analyst (Telecommunications & Infrastructure Transformation)
Role Overview
We are seeking an analytical, strategic, and results-driven Senior Business Analyst to join our infrastructure and transformation practice. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in driving operational efficiency and network connectivity modernization projects across our telecommunications and utility service footprints.
This is a high-impact analytical role requiring deep expertise in software-defined networking, cost-avoidance strategies, and regulatory compliance. You will collaborate closely with internal leadership, external regulatory agencies, and technology partners to define project plans, optimize operational expenses, and streamline technology integrations. If you excel at solving complex systemic challenges and driving digital modernization, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
Transformation & Project Execution
• Network Modernization: Participate in strategic projects focused on operational efficiency, infrastructure upgrades, and network connectivity transformation.
• Project Planning: Contribute to defining end-to-end project plans for technology implementations, service improvements, and infrastructure expansions.
• SD-WAN Optimization: Leverage Software-Defined Wide Area Networking (SD-WAN) principles to optimize network performance, enhance data security, and improve operational workflows.
Cost Optimization & Financial Strategy
• Expense Reduction: Formulate and execute strategies to reduce operational expenditures, optimize telecommunications overhead, and implement cost-avoidance measures.
• Vendor & Asset Management: Partner in vendor negotiations and network management initiatives to maximize ROI and financial efficiency.
Stakeholder Coordination & Compliance
• Regulatory Alignment: Coordinate with leadership, regulatory bodies, and external partners to ensure full compliance with statutory frameworks and business objectives.
• Change Management: Support digital modernization efforts, customer experience enhancements, and cross-functional technology adoptions utilizing enterprise tracking tools like Jira.
Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
• Experience Baseline: Extensive professional experience (5+ years) driving business analysis and transformation projects within the utilities and telecommunications industries.
• Technical Mastery:
oStrong background in project management, process optimization, stakeholder engagement, and organizational change management.
oHands-on proficiency in Software-Defined Wide Area Networking (SD-WAN) principles, cost-saving strategies, and financial cost-avoidance techniques.
oWorking knowledge of regulatory frameworks, infrastructure investment strategies, and modernization roadmaps.
oProficiency utilizing Jira for project tracking and backlog management.
