Moore Mechanical is seeking an experienced Senior HVAC Installer who can do more than install HVAC systems.

This role is for a skilled HVAC professional who can lead by example, coordinate field activities, mentor apprentices and installers, and help projects stay on schedule and on budget.

As a Senior HVAC Installer, you'll serve as a key leader in the field and play an important role in developing the next generation of Moore Mechanical HVAC professionals while preparing for future advancement into Foreman and Operations leadership positions.

What You'll Do

Field Leadership

  • Lead HVAC installations on residential and commercial projects
  • Coordinate daily crew activities and jobsite priorities
  • Provide direction and support to apprentices and installers
  • Promote professionalism, accountability, and teamwork on every project

Project Execution

  • Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction drawings
  • Coordinate with Foremen, Project Managers, and other trades
  • Ensure installations comply with manufacturer requirements, code standards, and company expectations

  • Support project schedules and milestone commitments

Material & Jobsite Management

  • Anticipate material, equipment, and tool requirements
  • Help prevent delays caused by material shortages or poor planning

  • Support labor productivity and jobsite workflow

Training & Development

  • Mentor apprentices and less experienced installers
  • Teach proper installation techniques and industry best practices
  • Support onboarding and development of new team members

Safety & Quality

  • Promote company safety policies and jobsite standards
  • Maintain clean, organized, and professional jobsites
  • Conduct quality checks throughout installations
  • Help minimize rework, callbacks, and punch-list items

What We're Looking For

  • 3–5+ years of HVAC installation experience
  • Advanced understanding of HVAC systems, installation methods, and industry standards
  • Demonstrated leadership or lead installer experience
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to read blueprints and construction documents
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and priorities
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs., climb ladders, and work in active construction environments
  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • Minimum age of 18
