Rotor-Wing Pilot Talent Acquisition- Senior ManagerHybrid: Dallas, TX/St. Louis, MO/Sacramento, CA /Denver, CO

$95,000K-$115,000K & Bonus Eligibility

We're hiring a Sr. Manager, Talent Acquisition, to lead and support our rotor-wing pilot recruitment team. As our Helicopter Emergency Medical Service (HEMS) talent acquisition leader, you'll partner with your team to attract, source, recruit, nurture, and hire rotor-wing pilots—advancing our mission of delivering care at a moment's notice.

This leader will ensure a positive candidate experience while partnering with industry hiring managers to set them up for success. Additionally, this person will play a key role in our HR commitment to excellence—shaping our culture, embodying HR key competencies, and ensuring a positive employee and candidate experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Hybrid, located near an air-brand: Denton (MTC), McClellan CA (RCH), O'Fallon MO (AEL) /OR GMR location: Dallas or Denver.
  • The Sr. Manager, Talent Acquisition – Rotor-wing pilots will oversee the rotor-wing pilot recruitment efforts Leverage modern technologies and TA best practices to streamline administrative work and drive efficiencies—freeing the team to focus on meaningful candidate interactions, relationship-building, and long-term pipeline development.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Talent Acquisition Partners, overseeing workload distribution, performance outcomes, and professional growth.
  • Develop and execute rotor-wing (HEMS) pilot recruiting strategies, building and maintaining a strong pipeline of qualified candidates for both immediate and future hiring needs.
  • Partner closely with industry hiring managers, aligning role requirements, success criteria, interview approach, and timelines to set them up for successful hires.
  • Champion a positive candidate experience from application through onboarding, maintaining engagement and communication at every stage.
  • Accelerate the team’s capabilities to Source and sell opportunities through job boards, social media, networking events, referrals, and proactive outreach to passive pilot candidates on key job boards and platforms
  • Ensure compliance, consistency, and quality standards across all recruiting activity, including candidate documentation and data records, in line with company policy and FAA/DOT-regulated requirements.
  • Leverage recruiting metrics and data to draw insights, report on pipeline health, and make data-driven recommendations that improve hiring outcomes.
  • Attend and represent GMR at industry events, career fairs, aviation conferences, and pilot networking opportunities to grow brand awareness and expand the candidate community, including 25% travel.
Qualifications:

Education & Industry Experience

  • High school diploma required, bachelor’s preferred
  • 8+ years of experience managing and leading teams
  • 3+ years recruitment and talent acquisition
  • Experience in aviation and specifically rotor pilot recruiting
  • Experience as a pilot preferred
