Job description

Huron helps its clients drive growth, enhance performance and sustain leadership in the markets they serve. We help healthcare organizations build innovation capabilities and accelerate key growth initiatives, enabling organizations to own the future, instead of being disrupted by it. Together, we empower clients to create sustainable growth, optimize internal processes and deliver better consumer outcomes.
Health systems, hospitals and medical clinics are under immense pressure to improve clinical outcomes and reduce the cost of providing patient care. Investing in new partnerships, clinical services and technology is not enough to create meaningful and substantive change. To succeed long-term, healthcare organizations must empower leaders, clinicians, employees, affiliates and communities to build cultures that foster innovation to achieve the best outcomes for patients.
Joining the Huron team means you'll help our clients evolve and adapt to the rapidly changing healthcare environment and optimize existing business operations, improve clinical outcomes, create a more consumer-centric healthcare experience, and drive physician, patient and employee engagement across the enterprise.

  • Contribute to integration-related activities tied to EHR implementations, upgrades, migrations, and conversions

  • Create and maintain technical documentation, interface specifications, data mappings, and operational runbooks

  • Coordinate tasks across internal team members, client stakeholders, and third-party vendors

  • Lead or support integration testing cycles, cutover planning, and go-live readiness

  • Facilitate regular status meetings and provide clear, concise client-facing updates

  • Ensure delivery aligns with scope, quality standards, timelines, and client expectations

Must be willing and able to travel up to 25% of the time as required per client demands.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)

  • Strong SQL skills, including querying, troubleshooting, and data validation

  • Experience supporting or integrating with one or more major EHR platforms:

    • Epic

    • MEDITECH

  • Demonstrated ability to manage priorities, deliver independently, and operate effectively in ambiguous or fast-paced environments

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences
