As a Senior Manager, you will:

  • Provide oversight and expert guidance across multiple concurrent marketing strategy engagements, spanning the breadth of the CMO agenda including operating model transformation, growth and margin improvement opportunities, resource allocation and investment decision-making, audience segmentation, marketing and campaign strategy, and AI-enablement strategy

  • Contribute to and lead thought leadership efforts that build the practice's reputation and market presence
  • Confidently lead teams to strong outcomes while managing scope, timelines, risks, dependencies, and client needs across engagements
  • Maintain comfort with the more technical aspects of marketing, including MarTech stacks, platforms, tools, and the implications of AI, to guide broader marketing transformation engagements
  • Use advanced analytics and AI-enabled tools to improve efficiency, insight generation, and work quality
  • Lead, coach, and develop teams while fostering an inclusive, high-performing culture and modeling Deloitte leadership behaviors

A successful candidate would possess these skills:

  • Ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a team
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail and quality of work product
  • Ability to build and sustain professional relationships
  • Ability to lead multiple projects concurrently
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills and professional demeanor
  • Ability to proactively identify and address potential challenges to effective delivery of work products before they happen
  • Ability to mentor and provide clear guidance to others

The team

An evolving customer and regulatory landscape, cost and operational pressures, and intensifying competition are presenting new organizational and operational hurdles for Healthcare organizations. These complex market dynamics are requiring new levels of rigor and insight in marketing strategy, operating model design, and the application of new technology capabilities by marketing leaders.

We are looking for practitioners who will work alongside Healthcare organization leadership teams to drive business value through the design and delivery of marketing strategies that connect customer insight to business impact.

Qualifications

Required:

  • 12+ years of experience with a demonstrated history of consulting delivery in marketing strategy, brand and commercial strategy, or related areas of the CMO agenda
  • 8+ years of experience working directly with marketing and commercial client teams
  • 6+ years of experience in the US Healthcare and Life Sciences ecosystem, including customer and stakeholder dynamics, commercial operating environments, and engagement models
  • 1+ years of experience incorporating AI into daily workflow and leveraging AI tools to enable and optimize the client experience
  • Ability to travel up to 30%+ on average, based on the work you do and the clients you serve
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
  • Strong executive presence, stakeholder management, and written and oral communication skills, with the credibility to engage senior client leaders

Preferred:

  • 4+ years of experience leading and overseeing multiple engagements or teams concurrently
  • Comfort with and exposure to the technical aspects of marketing, including MarTech platforms, tools, and the implications of AI (no requirement to design or build technology)
  • 5+ years of experience selling and delivering, including supporting pursuits, leading proposal responses, shaping client solutions, and owning delivery outcomes
  • Experience leading thought leadership, eminence building, and proposal development
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams and translate business needs into analytical or technology-enabled solutions
  • History of bringing a 'Team First' mentality and willingness to work collaboratively in a close-knit community focused on growing our market footprint
  • Experience growing and developing teams in a highly collaborative and dynamic environment, especially practitioners with 2-4 years of experience
