With limited supervision, the Senior Manager is responsible for the daily operations of the FOH/BOH functions in a restaurant, including appearance, presentation, customer experience, and professional leadership and direction to employees.


Position Details:

  • Assist with staffing levels by scheduling, recruiting, interviewing, and hiring, while maintaining high employment quality standards aligned with the Outback Steakhouse brand.ย ย ย 
  • Actively participate in the career growth of hourly team members.
  • Implement effective security protocols to always ensure the ongoing safety of both our employees and guests.
  • Champion our development paths for all Outbackers so that they can reach their career goals. These development paths provide the roadmaps for our internal management promotions.
  • Comply with operational standards, company policies, federal/state/local laws, and ordinances; all health inspections meet required state standards.ย 
  • Ensure the operational basics and standards are adhered to with total commitment and passion through providing direction and guidance to employees.
  • Actively take part as a member of the management team.
  • Respond to guest comments and seek the opportunity to build guest count while educating and empowering other Outbackers to act in a similar capacity.
  • Set excellent customer service and work examples.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the entire menu and preparation.
  • Engage in community and market-related opportunities at the restaurant.

Specific qualifications include:

  • Minimumย 3 years ofย salariedย restaurant management experienceย 
  • Full Casual Dining or Casual Plus environment, preferred
  • Hands-on experience in both FOHย andย HOHย ย ย 
  • Availability to work a flexible scheduleย 
  • Minimum 21 years of age with legalย authorization to work in the United States
  • Willingness to relocate within the assigned region.ย  ย 
  • Computer skills, a plus
  • Bilingual, a plus
