Job Title: Senior Graphic DesignerJob Description
The Senior Graphic Designer serves as a lead creative on the marketing and creative services team, driving the design and development of materials that support internal and external marketing initiatives, sales enablement, and property marketing. This role focuses on strategic communications, art direction, and the creation of high-impact documents, publications, infographics, sophisticated PowerPoint presentations, and innovative print and proposal collateral, with some HTML work as needed. The Senior Graphic Designer partners closely with business stakeholders to understand strategy, audiences, and objectives, delivering unique sales and marketing tools that push creative boundaries while remaining aligned with brand standards. The position requires collaboration with writers, other designers, graphics coordinators, and various levels of leadership, often in virtual teams distributed across different locations.
Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and development of customized marketing deliverables that support internal and external marketing initiatives, sales enablement, and property marketing campaigns.
  • Participate in and initiate client team discussions to brainstorm key messages and provide thought leadership that ensures complex messages are visually and clearly communicated.
  • Design tailored graphical elements and visual concepts that effectively convey messages in documents, presentations, and other marketing materials.
  • Produce a wide range of marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, offering memoranda, email campaigns, invitations, presentations, maps, stacking plans, signage, aerials, and related collateral.
  • Create sophisticated InDesign/e-pub and PowerPoint presentations that incorporate builds, transitions, animations, and hyperlinking for an engaging user experience.
  • Perform thorough quality control by proofreading copy for spelling, grammar, layout, and overall clarity, ensuring all materials are accurate, polished, and client-ready.
  • Provide exceptional client service by meeting deadlines, communicating proactively, and identifying issues that may affect timelines or deliverables for the team.
  • Collaborate closely with department management and Senior leadership to align creative output with business strategy and brand positioning.
  • Innovate within established brand standards and operational procedures, continually exploring new ways to elevate the visual identity and design approach.
  • Develop implementation plans that support new design department strategies and ensure smooth rollout of creative initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to create and refine standards, procedures, and creative design tools and resources that improve efficiency and consistency.
  • Take full ownership of assigned projects, managing day-to-day progress, timelines, and stakeholder communication from concept through final delivery.
  • Provide leadership and art direction to other team members, guiding creative direction and ensuring high-quality execution across projects.
  • Coach and support junior designers by assisting with troubleshooting, technical execution, and creative concept development.
  • Work effectively with virtual teams located across different regions, maintaining strong communication and collaboration in a distributed work environment.
  • Manage multiple assignments simultaneously, prioritizing tasks at different stages of discovery, design, and execution while meeting deadlines and service expectations.

Essential Skills
