Description

GXM Technologies is seeking a mid-level Program Analyst to support a Federal Government program focused on advancing innovation, strengthening portfolio performance, and enabling data-driven decision-making. This position is based in Washington, DC and requires on-site work five days per week, with local and occasional nationwide travel to support client events as needed.

The Program Analyst will support a broad range of program management activities, including financial analysis, portfolio performance, risk assessment, due diligence, and operational support. Candidates will be assigned a primary functional area based on their experience and expertise, such as Financial Analysis & Portfolio Performance or Risk Assessment & Due Diligence, while collaborating across task areas to support evolving mission priorities. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and experienced in supporting Federal programs through research, analysis, reporting, and stakeholder collaboration.ย 


Qualified candidates will be interviewed in-person at the GXM Arlington office. Selected candidates will be fingerprinted and submitted for a background check prior to onboarding.ย 


Key Responsibilitiesย 

  • Conduct research, analyze program and financial data, and prepare reports to support Government decision-making.ย ย 
  • Support budget tracking, financial reconciliations, grants administration, portfolio performance analysis, or due diligence activities, as assigned.ย ย 
  • Review and validate data, identify trends or potential risks, and recommend process improvements.ย ย 
  • Prepare reports, briefing materials, dashboards, and other analytical products for Government stakeholders.ย ย 
  • Maintain accurate documentation, tracking tools, and program records in accordance with Federal policies and procedures.ย ย 
  • Collaborate with Government stakeholders and project team members to support program objectives and contract deliverables.ย ย 
  • Provide cross-functional support across program areas as mission priorities and workload demands evolve.ย ย 
  • Perform other duties as assigned in support of contract objectives.ย ย 

Requirements

Required Qualificationsย 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Management, Political Science, Risk Management, Data Analytics, or a closely related field from an accredited college or university.ย ย 
  • 3-5+ years of relevant professional experience supporting Federal programs, financial analysis, portfolio management, risk assessment, compliance, due diligence, and/or program management.ย ย 
  • Strong analytical, research, organizational, and problem-solving skills.ย ย 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.ย ย 
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook, Co-Pilot, SharePoint, and Teams.ย 
  • Experience with AI tools and solutions.ย 
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a collaborative environment.ย ย 

Preferred Qualificationsย 

  • Experience supporting Federal Government programs or contracts.ย 
  • Experience with grant management and evaluation. ย 
  • Experience in one or more of the following functional areas:ย 1. Financial analysis and portfolio management, 2. Budget planning, grants administration, or financial reconciliation, 3. Risk assessment, due diligence, or compliance, or 4. Performance measurement, reporting, or business process improvementย ย 
  • Experience with Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, CRM tools (Salesforce), or similar reporting and collaboration tools.ย 

$110,000 - $150,000 salary + annual bonus eligibility + medical/dental/vision/STD/LTD/Life + 401(k) + PTOย
