Candidates experienced as USAF/USSF acquisition officers (AFSC: 63A) or developmental engineers (AFSC: 62E) leading satellite programs in the USSF (SSC), NRO, or SDA, applying the full range of the systems engineering discipline (e.g., Requirements Development, Architecture, SE milestones: SRR, PDR, CDR, etc.), and/or DAWIA/PMI Program Management will be especially well-prepared to excel.

Job Description:

This position is for a Program Analyst in Chantilly, VA supporting cutting-edge and innovative space programs. This position supports the Satellite Program Office by providing direct support to government customers in execution of their duties and responsibilities. The Program Analyst assists the Front Office Leadership, develops/ maintains the office file plan, and provides back-up support to the Front Office team, as needed. The Program Analyst composes documentation in accordance with government policies and practices and maintains working knowledge of all senior government office interfaces.

Role Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative, project, and logistics support to senior managers, including the Government Program Manager and Front Office Staff that includes Military and Civilian personnel.
  • Manage senior manager calendars/schedules and coordinate visit requests.  
  • Process travel authorizations and expense reports.
  • Coordinate program level technical engagements with senior corporate executive stakeholders and industry partners.
  • Arrange for appropriate conference rooms/facilities and prepare meeting places in accordance with acceptable protocol and security procedures.  
  • Review and route senior-level executive correspondence, ensuring compliance with established NRO correspondence standards.
  • Develops and maintains front office file plan; provides guidance, training, and oversight.  
  • Partner with the Government Military Leader and Program Managers to strategically and tactically guide nationally-critical satellite programs through acquisition, engineering, and operational trades to achieve on-time launch and on-orbit performance. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelors and 10 years of relevant experience providing administrative, project, and logistics support to senior managers, including the Government Program Manager and Front Office Staff that includes Military and Civilian personnel OR Masters and 7 years of relevant experience.  Experience MAY be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Experience in the development and maintenance of office file plan(s) as well as composition and management of documentation in accordance with government policies and practices.
  • Strong problem identification/resolution skills, flexibility, initiative, and a proven ability to communicate and work with senior executives efficiently and effectively (to include experience interfacing/communicating with senior executive leadership in government or industry).  
  • Strong experience in writing/editing memos and correspondence. - Excellent computer skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to communicate with a diverse audience of decision makers with varying levels of programmatic and technical expertise.
  • Active TS/SCI with current Poly Desired.
  • Previous SAP experience desired.

Target salary range: $120,001 - $160,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
